that's right, i am already there and hubby, Lord willing, will be joining me in a couple of weeks ... we decided to celebrate together ... the event took place last night ...
the invite ... yep, its a real record :) ...
we choose to theme it 80s ... we figured it was not too hard to dress up and it was a decade of pretty good music ... our colour theme was red, teal and yellow, with some black thrown in for good measure ... we also threw in some rubiks cubes and pac man and of course some more records, including our own home made vinyl record bowls ...
the candy: neon nerds, fads and pop rocks :) ...
it was really appreciated that everyone made an effort to dressup (and at least we didn't feel out of place) ... here are some photos of a few of us all dressed up ;) ... (please excuse the average quality of these photos taken at night in poor lighting)
my aunty maria even decorated her beautiful bold head for the occasion :) ...
we had lots of fun ... thank you so much to our awesome family and friends for the great company and good laughs :) ...
