april text

i remember a quick counting method going something like "one, two, skip a few, ninty nine, one hundred" ... i guess that is what happened to march 2012 ... this is the passage i have chosen to memorize for the month of april:

Lamentations 3:22-26 (NIV)

"Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, 

for his compassions never fail. 

They are new every morning; 

great is Your faithfulness.

I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”

The LORD is good to those whose hope is in Him,
to the one who seeks Him; 

it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD."

riley bear starts preprimary ...

a little less confident than his older brother ... who insisted today that i was not to walk him to his year 1 class room ... something along the lines of being a big boy now :) ... riley bear was happy to back with his bestie ... and i'm sure these two will get up to lots of mischief ;) ...

but he is just too little to be going to school ...

somehow i don't think this little bear would agree ... hope you're having a good day little vegemite :)

 

february text

i can't believe that it's already february :) ... this is the passage i have chosen to memorize this month: 

Deuteronomy 6:4-9

"“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one!

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, 

with all your soul, and with all your strength.

“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 

You shall teach them diligently to your children, 

and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, 

when you walk by the way, 

when you lie down, and when you rise up. 

You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, 

and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 

You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

a heart beat

at six weeks .. i hold my breath ... the sonographer turns on the screen ... it's wonderful ... a tiny heartbeat ...

at eleven weeks ... i hold my breath ... the doctor turns on the screen ... it's wonderful ... a little heartbeat ...

today ... at nineteen weeks ... i hold my breath ... the sonographer turns on the screen ... it's wonderful ... a heartbeat ...

I feel so truly blessed ... for this precious little gift ... His tiny little creation ... and today, for the most wonderful sound of a little heart beating ...

summer holidays

= daily doses of backyard cricket wearing daggy baggy blue and black caps and lots of 'howzats!'

 

... today's biggest argument is about who gets to be mr. clarke ... because nobody can get him out :) ...

... and then a week later

we headed to albany for 2 nights with my parents and the bosveld family ...

then while the others headed back home ... we ventured to margaret river for a three night family holiday .. it was very relaxing ... and completely wonderful to enjoy some quality time with all my boys again ...
