hi there ... i don't know what this week has been like for you, but mine has been rather busy ... i'm not at all complaining, it was a blessing to be able to celebrate my mums birthday, a friends wedding and accompany 5 year old bear on a school excursion ... i do however, have to admit to looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home :) ...

it was my wonderful mums birthday on wednesday ...

and after dinner today we decided to head to the beach for a walk and some beach cricket and to watch the sunset over the ocean ...

hanging out in the dunes ... i do love this photo, but that may have more to do with the big story little bear was sharing with me more than the actual photo ... 

just getting our feet wet ... 

surprisingly for a non-beachy person like myself this is becoming a favourite past time ... a great way to combine chilling out with quality family time ...
