so first a little wind up on my london trip ... it feels like an eternity ago ... i had a fantastic time ... it was so nice to spend time with my sister and her adorable girls ... and the o-man was good company too ;) ... we did a good amount of travelling and sightseeing, b is quite the tour guide ... b also does a much better job at writing than me and you can find more details of our time together over at her blog ...
it was cool meeting b's bump (now known as macy) ... it was so funny sitting next to them (b and her bump) on the couch and watching elbows and feet poking out (and occasionally poking bump back) ... the hardest thing was saying goodbye, knowing that so very soon Lord willing, they would get to meet the little person that was 'bump' and i wouldn't be there ...
spending time with b was priceless ... at either end of the pregnancy spectrum, we managed to find a balance of not over exhausting ourselves but still having a wonderful time together ... i sure miss our chats ...
the o-man was a fantastic co-host ... he takes wonderful care of his 3 (now 4) girls ... and he put up with having me around for 3 weeks, which in itself deserves an award ...
adorable ella ... she has the warmest smile and a heart of gold ... i have wonderful memories of reading books and doing puzzles with this little princess ... in the lift on the way to the airport, when no one else was around she said to me "thanks aunty lyssa for coming over to visit us" ...

little pocket rocket sami ... with the cutest smile pose (crinkle nose) ... she is the perfect compliment to her big sister and they get on wonderfully well ... a mischievous 2 year old who wins your heart over in an instant ...
don't you go thinking for a moment that i didn't cry when i had to hug these two little girls good bye ...
it was a trip to a place i never dreamed i would get to visit ... but what meant more than seeing the london icons, travelling the british countryside and through parts of europe ... was the blessing of spending time with one beautiful family that our little family misses dearly ...
thanks to my wonderful hosts ... your hospitality was second to none ... i miss you guys lots ... the bears ask on a regular basis when i will take them to london to visit you :) ...
welcome back! thanks for the lovely update and congrats on your bump! hope all goes well...
