a bear turns six

26th of august ... noahs 6th birthday ... it coincided with book week dress up day ...

 

noah dressed up as "noah from noah's ark from the bible" (his words) ... he wasn't too keen on the whole ordeal ... he'd rather just don his 'normal clothes' ... but i won him over with the rainbow cupcakes i made for him to take to class ...

after school we invited our closest family and friends for a bug themed party ... i'm still a sucker for no-fail cupcakes, maybe one day i'll attempt a 'proper' birthday cake ...

and at the end of a long day, the boys chill on the couch with uncle J to check out noahs new lego 'spot the crook' book ...

and now my oldest baby is 6 ... so thankful to the Lord for His gift to us ... praying for the strength everyday to be the mum this little child of His needs ...

today we are off to the park for a catch up with friends ... have yourself a wonderful day x
